Ordering, Payment & Alterations

Ordering

The average lead time to produce a gown is 5-7 months.  We recommend you order your wedding dress with enough time for your fittings and alterations.  With most designers a rush is possible, so don’t worry if your wedding timeline is shorter.  If you’re not sure about time frame please feel free to give us a call and we can help you with your ordering timeline!

Payment

The gowns in our store range from $2,500-$15,000, and we have several styles and colors available.  As experienced event planners, we understand the importance of your wedding budget, and will do whatever it takes to find the wedding dress you are looking for in your price range.

At the time of purchase, a full non-refundable payment for the ticketed price of all merchandise is encouraged, however, we can split the payment for your convenience. We accept credit cards, U.S. Checks, and cash.  Personal checks are not accepted for payment of your final balances.  Kinsley Couture will notify you when your merchandise arrives at the boutique.  All balances must be paid within 14 days of your merchandise arriving at Kinsley Couture.  We encourage you to try on your dress as close to it’s arrival as possible.  We require a signed credit card authorization form on file and it will be charged after 14 days of notification to you via email.  If a customer's entire balance is not paid in full within 20 days from the post mark date of a certified letter (requesting the payment of unpaid balances) mailed by Kinsley Couture to the customer's address listed below, then the deposit and the merchandise will be retained by Kinsley Couture and the customer shall have no further rights to either.

Alterations

Every wedding dress requires some type of alteration to perfectly sculpt the dress to your body.  Whether big or small, alterations are almost always a necessity.  After your gown arrives in-store, we will set up an appointment with our highly trusted seamstresses at a Kinsley Couture store. Or we can provide you with a list of recommended seamstresses in the area. This way you are free to interview tailors and see who you feel most comfortable with or use a tailor of your own choosing. Each tailor on our list has been handpicked based on their experience and reputation. We don't want anyone but the best touching your gown! If you live out of the area we will be more then happy to assist you in finding the most qualified tailors near you.
